Auction for Outreach
History
Every year in the springtime, St. Michael's holds an annual auction for outreach. Local merchants, organizations and parishioners donate the items for the auction, which include merchandise, gift certificates, tickets and services. The "silent" auction features several rooms filled with the goods, along with sheets for people to bid on the items. These sheets are collected at predetermined times for each room. For the higher ticket items, there is a lively "live" auction, where the bidding is fast and furious!Past auction themes have included, "Around the world in 80 days", "A "Knight" to remember" and "The Wild, Wild, West"!
Unlike previous years, there will be no child care available this year.
All proceeds from the auction go entirely to our outreach ministry. Additionally, this event normally attracts many non-parishioners, which helps our fellowship with the local communities.
