Memorial Garden and Columbarium

Our Christian faith teaches us that the beginning and ending of our physical and spiritual life rests with God. Through out the history of Christianity, the Church has provided for burial of its members within churchyards or crypts. This ancient tradition is consistent with the Church's belief in a decent and reverent burial for all.

In recent years, the acceptance of cremation has made it possible to continue this tradition of granting a place for all God's children to "dwell in the house of the Lord forever." On September 24, 2006, a dedication ceremony was held to celebrate the completion of our long awaited Memorial Garden. The objective of our Memorial Garden is to provide a serene and attractive garden for prayer and meditation and a columbarium for the interment of ashes.

Plots in the Memorial Garden are available to parishioners and former parishioners. The plot fee is $300 and the granite marker is an additional $200 for a total of $500. If you would like to obtain a Memorial Garden Plot Agreement, please contact the Parish Secretary.
